And the love affair continues...

I found these gorgeous vintage Japanese beads and immediately bought them to use in my DIY :P

I want to keep this piece really simple to allow the attention to fall onto the beautiful beads.
These floral (with a rose print) beads are really rare and pretty! And i want to name it after Princess Sayoko of Japan. She is so cute ! Simply kawaii ! In case you are wondering how cute is cute... here's how she looks :

For Sayako

And in the spirit of using vintage Japanese beads, i chanced upon these lovely parts which i made into a necklace. I created something different to the chain by connecting them using these rich golden flute beads. For the drop, i simply add in a lovely aqua-colored stone trimmed with golden filigree. And the result is a lovely feminine necklace with a young girly charm.

Aiko

In all her beauty...

Welcome to my little humble site! Since i am somewhat technologically-challenged..this site would be kept as simple as possible :P

I love to bead and had been beading for sometimes and so i'd thought it might be a good idea to start a site like this to share my work with ladies who like my creations as much as i do. =)

My first love for DIY accessories were sparked off by nice girly and yet classy earrings. I kept on buying and buying and buying... until i think i had enough inspirations (and not enough $$$) to start making them on my own. My creations aim not to dramatise but rather, to add the finishing touch to one's attire in a more subtle, feminine and dainty kind of way. My current love affair with pearls helps create this batch of earrings (and a necklace). I used to associate pearls with my mummy (no not that she loves pearls or wear them everyday but that pearls are old-ish and retro-ish and only suits older people), but i had grown to like them after i realise that they can be made into dainty pretty little stuffs with the right touch.

Pearl Lady 1
Teardrops pearls in white and light salmon accompanied by bling bling crystals set in a loop earrings. Great for the office lady at work =)

Pearl Lady 2
A more elaborate styleup of the previous creation, i added in more crystals to glam up the earrings and the colour combinations of this pair really makes it easily matchable with most outfits or even evening wear.

Le Papillon
Pearls of shelly white and soft pink alternated together and throw in a mix of gold rims for the soft subtle glow. The little gliterring butterfly at the drop hints a touch of ocean-blue. Lovely and sweet =)

Starlight
I used a no. of crystals in various shapes and sizes to complement the pearls in this pair.
A natural-shell star charm takes centrestage in this girly creation.

Authetic crystals and pearls are used in the earrings. All from Swarovski.

Victorian Lady
Faux pearls of different sizes help create texture for the necklace. A cameo of a Victorian Lady framed by linings of silver and a drop of gold tassels add class to this piece.
